The conscious use of our breath is an ancient practice embodied by shaman, yogis, meditators and individuals seeking transformation, inspiration, clarity and balance.
When circular, aware breathing is practiced in a place of sacred space and with a trained
facilitator, it is a safe and effective way to create a non-ordinary state of being. The breath creates a vortex for journeying within.
When we experience a life trauma, an aspect of us will create defense mechanisms to keep us from re-experiencing the pain. The defenses compartmentalize and splinter
parts of our true Selves and make aspects of our divine nature inaccessible.
Our life loses its wholeness, health and power.
Ironically, the very feelings we bury are directing our life unconsciously and recreating the pain of the trauma that we are trying to avoid in an attempt to be whole. Our core programming is held in our breathing, therefore it can be changed by breathing ourselves out of our ordinary state of consciousness. In altering the breath, we experience what is like to be in our "original," state: that of loving wholeness.

What To Expect in Your Private Breath Session:
Please dress in comfortable, loose clothing and bring a pair of socks. If you wish you may bring your own pillow and blanket.
Following an explanation of the technique and answering any questions you may have, a brief relaxation guided meditation will lull you into flow with the esoteric music especially designed to accompany and encourage your journey.
Lorraine supports your Breath experience in many ways, using psycho-spiritual techniques all the while assuring
that your subconscious is directing the flow of events and not other outward influences.
After the session, you are invited to rest a bit and then come gently back into the body. Most people report that they feel lighter, brighter, less tense and more self aware. While Lorraine offers you time to integrate your experience you may enjoy a cup of tea and a light refreshments which are provided. Journaling or expressive symbolic artwork are encouraged.
Individual and Group Sessions are held similarly, however, in a group breath session, a number of people will be supported in the Breath at the same time, each experiencing their own individual journey. In a group breath, a wonderful and creative group energy is generated that seems to support the breathers throughout the session. Group work also generates healthy connections and encourages those attending to support each other.
